 {REM | '} text

 Usage Notes
   ■ Remarks are ignored when your program runs unless they contain
     metacommands.

   ■ REM statements are not compiled, but instead appear exactly as typed
     when the program is listed.

   ■ A remark can be inserted on a line after an executable statement if it
     is preceded by either:
     • A single quotation mark (')
     • REM preceded by a colon (:REM)

   ■ Do not use the single-quotation form of REM in a DATA statement because
it will be considered valid data. See: ◄DATA Statement►

   ■ You can branch from a GOTO or GOSUB statement to a REM statement.
Execution continues with the first executable statement after the REM
     statement. See: ◄GOTO Statement► ◄GOSUB...RETURN Statement►
