The dt tag specifies a definition term and starts a new row in a definition
list. A definition term is one or more words displayed in the left column of
a definition list. The tag must be followed immediately by one or more
words.
 
The dt tag may be used only in a definition list created using the dl tag.
The dt tag must be followed by a matching dd tag.
 
This tag does not use parameters.
