:spot id=label.
The :spot tag marks a place in the document, other than a heading or
footnote, and permits the spot to be referenced using the :spotref tag. The
tag is used to provide access to a help panel by using a label associated
with a heading or footnote label.
Parameter Description
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
id Identifies the spot label. The label value can be a combination
of letters and digits, but it must be unique (that is, no other
spot may have the same label). The spot label can be used in a
spot reference to identify the spot and display the help panel
containing the corresponding text.
Example
This example uses the :spot tag to create an alternate label for a help
panel:
:h1 id=cpy.Copy
:spot id=combine.
The :hp2.Copy:ehp2. command copies files. It can
also be used to combine two or more files.
