  This topic describes macros and global functions that relate to
  exception processing.
 
  The diagnostic services fall into the following three categories:
  ◄Exception Macros►               Macros that generate exceptions.
 
  ◄Exception Throwing Functions►   Functions that generate exceptions.
 
  ◄Termination Functions►          Functions that cause program
                                   termination.
 
  NOTE: The AfxThrow functions are equivalent to the THROW macro with the
        appropriate exception class as an argument.
 
  To use these macros and global functions, add the following directive at
  the top of your program:
