GetCBreak Procedure
◄Summary► ◄Details► ◄Example► ◄Back►
Argument
state Boolean variable receiving the current state of DOS
CTRL+BREAK checking
Description
The GetCBreak procedure gets the current state of DOS CTRL+BREAK
checking.
If the state is True, DOS checks for CTRL+BREAK at each system
call. If the state is False, DOS checks for CTRL+BREAK only during
I/O to or from communication, console, or printer devices.
Use the SetCBreak procedure to change the state of DOS CTRL+BREAK
checking.
CTRL+BREAK checking remains in the current state until changed by
SetCBreak or the DOS command BREAK. It does not change when the
program ends.
GetCBreak does not use the variable CheckBreak, defined in the Crt
unit.
