NoSound Procedure
  Summary Details Example Back

  Description

The NoSound procedure turns off the tone emitted from the
computer's speaker. A tone is turned on by the Sound procedure.

The tone turned on by Sound remains on until turned off. Execution
of code after calling Sound does not stop the tone. Unless turned
off, the tone continues after the end of execution of the program.

To control the duration of the tone, use the Delay or KeyPressed
    routine.

The NoSound procedure is designed for IBM PCs and compatibles.
Results may differ on other machines.
