  Remarks
 
  Called internally by Microsoft Foundation member functions when there is
  a fatal error, such as an uncaught exception. Normally, AfxTerminate
  calls AfxAbort, but you can use AfxSetTerminate to enable the calling of
  a different function.
 
  You can call AfxTerminate any time you encounter an error from which you
  cannot recover.
